This is an inaugural conference co-hosted by Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia and Politeknik Sultan Alam Shah.

Prof. Ir. Sakti Adji Adisasmita, M.Si., MEng.Sc, Ph.D., is a professor in the Civil Engineering Department (Transport Engineering) at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Indonesia. His primary research interests include aviation and airport systems, regional planning and development, and multimodal transportation systems.
Prof. Ir. Sakti is actively involved in several professional organizations, including the Air Transport Research Society (ATRS), the Indonesian Airport Experts Association, the Indonesian Engineers Association, the University Network for Indonesia Infrastructure Development (UNIID), the Indonesian Transportation Society, the Intelligent Transport System (ITS) Indonesia, and the Indonesian Railway Society, among others.
He has authored numerous journal and proceedings articles and books on topics related to aviation and airports, port systems, land transportation, railway engineering, and many more. Prof. Ir. Sakti’s contributions have been widely recognized, earning him awards such as the Most Authors in the Field of Airports and Transport from the Indonesian Record Museum and the Award for South Sulawesi Province Development from the Governor of South Sulawesi
Dr. Samsul Arifin, S.Pd., M.Pd. is an English education lecturer at Universitas PGRI Madiun, specializing in EFL speaking strategies and professional teacher development. Born in Tulungagung on October 4, 1985, he holds a doctoral degree in Education from Sebelas Maret University (UNS). His research focuses on innovative teaching methods, digital literacy, and teacher competency enhancement.
With multiple publications in Scopus-indexed journals, his recent works explore game-based learning, speaking anxiety, and moral intelligence in teacher training. He has also led various research grants, including projects funded by Kemdikbud, BRIN, and SEAMEO, focusing on technology integration in education.
A dedicated academic, Dr. Arifin contributes to advancing pedagogical strategies and digital tools in language education.
Dr Navaranjan obtained BEng (Hons) degree in Materials Science and Engineering, University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. He is currently the Dean, School of Applied Sciences and Mathematics, Universiti Teknologi Brunei.
Dr Navaranjan had over 35 years of academic, research and commercial experience from Sri Lanka, Botswana and New Zealand before joining UTB in 2015. His major involvement was in food contact materials, enhancement of shelf-life of food, food value and supply chain logistics and management, novel products development, and bio-based and hybrid materials for engineering and food packaging applications. He published over 40 refereed journal and conference papers and submitted more than 50 scientific reports to the New Zealand government, clients and stakeholders. He involved as a team member and individual to obtain research grant over BND50 million during his 13 years of service in New Zealand. He received a few prestigious awards and US$0.5 million grant from GTZ, Germany for his outstanding work in Botswana (1998). He was an editorial board member of Journal of Advances in Applied Ceramics (2009-2012), and reviewer for materials related research funding application from the Orthopaedic Research UK (2010) and a number of international journals. He was also a programme committee member of some prestigious international conferences including IEEE (2008) and 7th Annual World Congress of Nano Science & Technology, Japan (2017).
Recently, he received research grant B$250,000 from CREATES of Brunei Government. It is a join commercial research and a company contributes B$250,000.
Huang Yucheng is a Master’s degree holder, Lecturer and Engineer, and a dual-qualified intermediate teacher. He is a government-sponsored visiting scholar from Guangxi, and the person in charge of the international vocational education resource courses for ASEAN countries in Guangxi. He serves as a committee member of the National “1+X” Building Information Modeling (BIM) Certificate Expert Committee and is a specially appointed lecturer at the National Academy for Mayors (Cadre College of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development). Additionally, he is an expert in fire protection technology for construction projects in Guangxi
Huang Yucheng has delivered keynote speeches at various international technical exchange events, including the China-ASEAN Youth Green Envoys Program in Guangxi, the International Vocational Education Teacher Training Camp at Guangxi College of Construction, and the “Frontiers of Chinese Construction Technology” lecture series at the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization Regional Centre for Technical Education Development (SEAMEO TED).
